MESSAGE OF PRINCIPAL
Welcome to the website of Sumandeep Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, one of the constituent institutes of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, Deemed to be University. Sumandeep Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital was established in 2021. After two years of formalities finally the permission was obtained from the competent authority on July 2022 with an intake capacity of 100 students in BHMS course. The first batch was admitted in 2022-2023 academic year and classes started on 20th February 2023. The responsibility of leading this new institution was handed over to me recently. It is a formidable task and a challenge to me to give it a firm footing and putting it forward in full blooming. I hope and belief that with the support of our excellent Management and the cooperation of diligent and sincere faculties, doctors and supportive staffs we will be successful. Homoeopathy is the humane medical system stands as the second in its acceptance worldwide. Actually, it is the most modern system as it was started in 1796. Various researches are going on for Homoeopathy. More ailing people are coming to homoeopathy for its effective cures. Moreover its cost-effectiveness and non-iatrogenic effects the educated people are more favouring homoeopathy now-a-days. The students who gain admission to our institute will be exposed to a competency based learning method. Apart from regular curriculum, we also provide EBES (Evidenced Based Education System), research methodology etc. We have an eco-friendly green campus with 24x7 hours Learning Resource Centre, sports, recreational facilities, hostel, and mess amenities which are par excellence. We have at present 25 bedded hospital as per NCH norms with all state of the art facilities. We believe in the all-around development of our students so that when the students pass out from our institution, they will not only be competent and confident homoeopathic physicians with a vision for the future, but also good human beings as well as ensured employability.
